Nagoya City in Aichi Prefecture is located in the center of Japan's main island of Honshu and is one of Japan's economic centers where major transportation hubs such as Chubu Centrair International Airport, highways, and railways converge. With many historic buildings such as Atsuta Shrine, this is an area where you can experience Japan's history and traditional culture. Aichi also has a unique culture that differs from Tokyo and Kyoto, and its culinary culture, in particular, includes dishes that have developed over a long history such as Hatcho miso, and dishes that are being rediscovered throughout Japan as 'Nagoya Meshi'. We invite you to visit the Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya City area and discover new Japanese culture.
